K1X Pop-Up Botique




European-based basketball brand, k1X, launched its a pop-up botique in New York's Soho District a week ago, on Fashion's Night Out, called the k1X Colllective.
The temporary, gallery-style pop-up shop is showcasing exclusive, limited edition pieces from collective of emerging high-end and street-wear designers, as well as artists from Africa, Europe, Asia and the US.


Brands include: German designer Patrick Mohr, Karina Kino, K1Xclusive, Entree Lifestyle, photographer Barron Claiborne and Mike Schreiber, Hoon, CASTEyewear, paper toy artist Nick Knite, Label of Love and *Folorunsho.


The store mixes fashion, art, media, design and lifestyle to create a concept style store, that has something for the fashionista or sneaker freak, and includes a 5x6 portrait of Biggie Smalls by Barron Claiborne, the last portrait taken before he died, as well as a limited edition of the Patrick Mohr Mk2 Sneakers, and K1X x CREATE 5-Speed fixed-gear style bikes, which are both exclusive to the US.


The concept store opened on the 8th, and will remain open, only until September 30th. It is located at 359 Lafayette St., SoHo, NYC.
